My name is David Rosen.  I am a dedicated collector and follower of anything to do with Starship Troopers, and I am the owner and web manager of www.StarshipTroopers.Net.

In 2000 I purchased my first piece from the movie - a simple "B" grade background Infantry helmet, simply because I was curious to own an original movie prop from my favourite film.

Since then, I have come to collect anything I can find to do with Starship Troopers, from rare Hero props and costume, to posters, DVDs, CDs and promotional items.  At this moment in time, I own around one hundred original pieces from Starship Troopers alone, and many other smaller pieces from other favourite movies of mine, such as DOOM, Sahara and National Treasure.

In 2002, inspired by other prop and fan web sites, I decided to launch my own fan-site for Starship Troopers.  I wanted to share my cumulative knowledge and passion for the movie with as many people as possible.  Thus the Troopers.Net was created.  Originally, it just featured my prop collection, but has now grown to incorporate information on all aspects of both Starship Troopers and now Starship Troopers 2 - Hero of the Federation.

I have also had the extreme pleasure and indeed great honour to work directly with both Mr Casper Van Dien (who played Johnny Rico) and with Mr Robert 'Rock' Galotti (the armorer on Starship Troopers).

I spend a lot of time and effort on my site, always adding new information, new features and articles.  I hope my site can be a source of information and inspiration for all other fans of Starship Troopers around the world.
